My name is Sheri McCallister and I am the adoptive mother of 2 of Jason Lyon’s kids. I started this campaign to help his parents Patti, Mike and Donny with the funeral and end of life expenses for Jason. He was the loving father of 4 wonderful kids. We had an open adoption and he continued to be a big part of all his kid’s lives. Jason died from complications from pneumonia and stage 4 lung cancer. His kids Brooke, Kiki, Ev and Katie loved their father so much. Jason was a loving son, brother, uncle and father. He was such a giving person. He would drop everything to help out anyone who needed it. Jason also helped care for his mom who is often homebound. He loved his family fiercely…especially his kids. He loved to have family gatherings. He loved dogs and his dog Sophie was his pride and Joy. He also was the biggest fan of the Celtics. Jason passed peacefully tonight surrounded by all of the people who loved him.
