Hello, my name is Alfred Melton. My siblings and I come before you today to ask for your help.
Our mother, Delores Melton, 62 years of age, born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, was diagnosed with stage 4 throat cancer. She has been battling this fight for about a year now, and recently, about a month ago, my sister Darlessia Allen moved her from Chicago to Texas with us to help take and provide better care for our mother.
She’s been very strong and fighting this fight with everything she has, but unfortunately, the doctors are saying there’s not much they can do at this point and recommended putting her on hospice until her demise. The doctors say they can’t predict how much longer she’ll have with us; it could be days, weeks, or even months. My family and I ask you guys to help us with getting her back to Chicago, where she has been her entire life, to lay her to rest when the time comes.
So please, family, friends, and even strangers, anything would greatly help and be appreciated. Thank you all…
