Help Us Lay Our Beloved Mother to Rest

Hey everybody, I’m never the type of person to ask for sympathy, money, or anything specifically, but this is a very hard time for me and my family. We need help paying for her funeral expenses. Anything helps. My mother was a VERY strong woman and faced many battles. She overcame some and she didn’t. But in the end, she was such a sweet, caring, selfless girl with the biggest heart. My mother’s smile would light up an entire room.

We are still trying to figure out everything. We have a million questions and never would I ever think I would get this call. I was at work when my little sister called me crying, not being able to spit out a single word. I begged her to just tell me, and when the words “mom died” came out of her mouth, I panicked. I thought to myself it wasn’t real. It couldn’t be, right? That’s what everyone wants to think. No one ever wants to believe it. But as time went on, her husband called. My mom was living alone for a few weeks while he had personal things going on. She stopped responding, wouldn’t answer a call to anyone. This isn’t like my mom at all. I knew something was wrong. He told me she was so sick she couldn’t even get up to use the bathroom. There’s more to the story, but it’s just very difficult to talk about because it’s extremely fresh. Anything helps.
