Dear friends, family, and compassionate souls,
With a heavy heart, I write on behalf of my dearest friend, Cindy, who on December 30, 2024 endured an unimaginable tragedy—the sudden and heartbreaking loss of her son, Brian. This is a pain no parent should ever have to face, and Cindy has had to do it twice, as she already lost one of her two sons. Cindy and her family are in deep grief, trying to once again make sense of senselessness.
In addition to the emotional toll, Cindy is also facing unexpected financial burdens, including funeral expenses, travel expenses and the costs of taking time away from work to grieve and heal. No one should have to worry about finances during such a profoundly difficult time.
