My name is Chase Sikorski. I have been a close friend and neighbor of the McGinnis family for 30+ years. As some of you may know, Samantha McGinnis passed away on 12/28/24. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Samantha McGinnis, who left us unexpectedly on Saturday, December 28, 2024. Samantha, a vibrant soul with an unforgettable smile, was a beloved daughter, sister, and friend. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Carrie, and her older brother, Brandon. Samantha is survived by her big sister, Morgan, along with her Aunt Kathy, Uncle Mike, and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins, all of whom held her close in their hearts. She is also survived by a wide circle of friends who cherished her deeply.
Samantha was born and raised in Spring, Texas, where she grew up surrounded by love and laughter. She was a dedicated registered nurse, a profession that reflected her caring and compassionate nature. Her infectious positivity and passion for helping others made a lasting impact on everyone who crossed her path.
Samantha also had a special love for animals, growing up with several poodles and turtles that shared her backyard. Her deep affection for animals was a testament to her kind and nurturing spirit.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her—her family, her friends, and all whose lives were touched by her warmth and generosity. Samantha’s spirit was full of life, and she will be missed more than words can express.
A private memorial service will be held to honor Samantha’s life and legacy. Friends wishing to assist with the service and related expenses are invited to contribute to a memorial fund, which has been set up to support her family during this difficult time.
Rest in peace, Samantha. You will forever remain in our hearts.
